Domain search and registration

Search names with real registrar prices, buy only after you approve the exact total, and decide per domain whether it may ever renew on its own.

Overview

What Domain search and registration is.

Domains lets you find and register a name for your business without leaving your workspace. Search results show availability plus first-year and renewal prices from the registrar.

Registration is always an explicit step. The request must include the exact name, both prices and the currency, and you must approve it. If the price changes before submission, nothing is registered.

After purchase, the domain is tracked with its expiry date, renewal setting and history. Transfers in are prepared with a preflight check and your authorization code.

  • Registrations are for one year at a time.
  • Automatic renewal runs only between 30 and 14 days before expiry, within your cap and budget.
  • Domains not assigned to your company are never adopted by sync.

How it works

Step by step.

Steps marked Rolling out are not available for every account yet.

  1. Search

Search a keyword. Results come from the registrar with live availability, first-year and renewal prices.

  2. Quote and confirm

Pick an exact name. Registration is only requested with a complete first-year and renewal quote and your explicit approval.

  3. Price check

Right before registering, the price is checked again. If the quote changed, nothing is submitted and you review a fresh one.

  4. Connect

Connect the domain to your Helm site, or manage records through a connected Cloudflare zone with a preview first.

  5. Renew or let it lapse

Reminders arrive 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before expiry. Automatic renewal only runs with your per-domain consent and price cap.
